π€ AI assistants
Ask your AI assistant what is left on today's board, plan a new bedtime routine or draft a TV activity. TinySteps works as a connector (an MCP server) that you sign in to, just like any other app.
MCP server URL
https://mcp.tinysteps.family/mcpOnce connected, the assistant can see your family's board and, if you allow it, create tasks, approve finished tasks, add rewards, show things on your family TV and draft TV activities. It always acts as the grown-up who connected it, with the same role in the family.
π¬ Try asking
Connectors you add on Claude.ai appear in Claude Desktop too. You can also add it in the app under Settings β Connectors.
Run this command, then type /mcp in Claude Code, pick tinysteps and sign in in the browser.
claude mcp add --transport http tinysteps https://mcp.tinysteps.family/mcpWhen you connect, TinySteps asks which family and which permissions to allow. Viewers can only allow reading.
Read your family (always)
Children's first names, colours and emoji, tasks, today's board, history, rewards, milestones and the leaderboard. Never photos.
Tasks
Create and edit tasks and routines.
Approvals
Approve or send back finished tasks.
Rewards
Create rewards.
TV control
Pin slides, send TV commands and control counters on your family TV.
TV activities
Create and edit TV activities as drafts.
Activities an assistant creates are drafts. A grown-up approves them before children see them.
No photos: the connector never returns children's photos or album pictures.
Owners and managers can allow changes. Viewers can only allow reading, and roles are checked on every request.
Disconnect anytime in Family settings β Connected apps. Access stops immediately.
Every action is listed in the activity log on the Connected apps page.
Sign-in tokens are stored hashed, expire after 1 hour and renew for up to 30 days.
Sign in to TinySteps first, then add the connector in your assistant.
